Workshop - Ethnic Storytelling (Whanganui Learning Centre)

This workshop is free to participants from the Ethnic community in Whanganui and has been approved by the Multicultural Society in Whanganui.

The sessions will focus on writing and /or illustrating stories or poems etc that reflect one's cultural background or experience in moving from their home country to New Zealand.

Assistance and encouragement will be given with developing participants ideas and with writing and illustrating as needed.

No previous experience necessary and open to ages 17 years up for both men and women. Bring a family member for support if you like.

Come along and share your stories and /or art and work towards having a small publication that can be shared with whanau and community.
