Our congratulations to agency illustrator Lily Uivel for the shortlisting of Te Pīkari Pipi (written by Angie Belcher, translated by Pānia Papa (Ngāti Korokī Kahukura, Ngāti Mahuta) in the WRIGHT FAMILY FOUNDATION TE KURA POUNAMU AWARD FOR TE REO MĀORI category (NZ Book Awards for Children & Young Adults 2024).
Congratulations also to agency illustrator Rebecca Gibbs for the shortlisting of Rere Atu Taku Poi! Let My Poi Fly! (written by Tangaroa Paul, Muriwhenua) in the NZSA BEST FIRST BOOK AWARD category (NZ Book Awards for Children & Young Adults 2024).
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held in Wellington on Wednesday 14 August 2024.
News update November 2023
Our congratulations go to our agency illustrator Jane Smith who illustrated Tails of Tangleby Gardens Book 2 (written by Sue Heazlewood and published by Auckram Publishing) which won Best Childrens' Cookbook - Oceania Category and came 2nd overall for Illustrated Cookbook in the Gourmand World's Best Cookbook Awards, in Saudi Arabia.
