Laura was greatly inspired as a child by watching cartoons, animated feature-length movies and viewing beautifully illustrated children's books which lead her into drawing her own fantasy worlds. She gained her Masters of Design in 2019 from Massey University.

With 10 years of experience in the industries of entertainment, publishing and advertising, Laura has worked for Weta Workshop, Talent House, Lanky Hippo Publishing LTD. Sea Star Creations and Wendy Pye Publications.
