Philip works mainly in water colour and gouache, pen and coloured pencil. Loose line and stylised characters rather than realistic, with a touch of gentle humour.

  • Born England 1952.
  • Moved to Hong Kong when he was two.
  • Then lived in Kenya before coming with family to NZ.
  • Studied at Wellington Polytechnic for Diploma in Graphic Design.
  • Worked as graphic designer at TVNZ.
  • OE to Israel and south Europe.
  • Has freelanced for about 20 years.
