Dine
Dine is based in Glenorchy, New Zealand.
She graduated from a French Art school, specializing in illustration, storytelling and character design. She works with traditional mediums such as ink, watercolor and pencil, often incorporating digital techniques (Photoshop, Procreate). Her work with Linoprint and Tattoo have influenced her designs, giving them an even more personal touch.
She likes her work to be inclusive, and is inspired by nature, different cultures, and the humor and poetry she observs in the world. As an illustrator she likes to illustrate children’s literature and graphic novels, especially if it’s about nature, legends, tales or whimsical stories. In 2021 her illustrations in her book The Extraordinary True Story of the Wekas of Lake Whakatipu won the Merit award at the Ray White Arrowtown Exhibition .
