Cat Chapman

Cat is a free lance illustrator from Auckland, New Zealand.

She studied for a Bachelor of Design at Unitec, majoring in photography. She has worked amongst other jobs, as a wedding photographer, English teacher and as a graphic and product designer.

In 2010 she attended a course in children's book illustration, which was followed by a contract for her first book. Cat enjoys working quickly with ink, pen, pencil and water colour and enjoys creating characters that are full of movement, humour and personality.
